The Company was established in 1979 by its owner and founder Mike Catling. On leaving school at sixteen Mike had not imagined his future was in Vehicle Rescue and Recovery.
Mike always had an interest in motor vehicles and began his career as a mechanic in the Staffordshire village of Bilbrook.
His knowledge and experience with vehicles grew rapidly and Mike initially formed a partnership involving vehicle repairs and some recovery work in Shifnal, Shropshire
This was the birth of Auto Mechanical. Mike subsequently ended the partnership and moved to Stafford Park, Telford. and then to his present modern, spacious self contained premises at Halesfield,Telford.
Auto Mechanical is now a well established name in Vehicle Rescue and Recovery offering a 24 hour National service, having a large fleet of modern vehicles and providing a full range of services.
